Our Services
Backflow testing is a critical part of protecting your home’s drinking water and you family’s health. In Oregon, state and local plumbing codes require annual testing of backflow prevention devices for many residential properties, especially those with irrigation systems, wells, or other potential cross-connections to the public water supply.
Backflow can occur when there’s a sudden change in water pressure, causing non- potable water (like irrigation water, pesticides or fertilizers) to flow backward into your home’s clean water supply. A properly functioning backflow prevention device stops this from happening, but it needs to be tested regularly to ensure it’s working as designed.
